Physicians for Medicaid

The Union County Medical Society stands firmly with physicians and patients in the fight to protect Medicaid. Our members believe that every resident deserves access to quality healthcare, and we actively advocate against proposals that would cut funding or restrict eligibility for this vital program.

From rallies at Overlook Medical Center to visits with legislators on Capitol Hill, UCMS members are making their voices heard on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Our Advocacy Work

AMA — Fix Medicare Now

UCMS members joined the American Medical Association's "Fix Medicare Now" campaign, traveling to Washington, D.C. to advocate for Medicare payment reform. Physicians have faced years of stagnant or declining reimbursement rates that threaten the viability of medical practices and patient access to care.

Through the AMA and the Medical Society of New Jersey, UCMS amplifies the voice of Union County physicians at the national level, working to ensure that Congress understands the real-world impact of healthcare policy on doctors and patients alike.
